The cast of the beloved 1988 film "Beetlejuice" reunited for a virtual panel at New York Comic Con 2022 and they finally reacted to the long-awaited news of a sequel.

Michael Keaton, who played the titular poltergeist, said, "I'm so excited. I've been waiting for this for years." Winona Ryder, who played Lydia Deetz, added, "It's a dream come true. Sequel Details

The sequel to "Beetlejuice" has been in development for several years, with Tim Burton attached to direct. The film is expected to begin filming in 2023 and is scheduled to be released in 2025.
