Omoda C5 Crossover Updated for Russia: First Photo

A Chinese car brand is preparing to release an updated crossover for the Russian market.

The updated Omoda C5 from the Chinese automaker Chery will soon make its debut in Russia. The first official photo of the novelty has already appeared on the Web.

The main changes affected the front end of the car.

In particular, the crossover received a new grille with a different pattern, as well as a modified bumper with enlarged air intakes. The headlights have also been redesigned.

The interior of the updated Omoda C5 has not yet been shown. However, it is expected that the car will receive a new multimedia system with an enlarged screen.

Technical characteristics of the updated Omoda C5 for Russia have not yet been disclosed. It is likely that the crossover will retain the same engines as the pre-styling model. We are talking about a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 147 hp. and a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 128 hp.

The updated Omoda C5 is expected to go on sale in Russia in the second half of 2023. Prices for the new items have not yet been announced.
