Toronto BuskerFest Returns to the City's Streets

Buskers From Across the Globe to Showcase Their Talents

Free, Family-Friendly Event Celebrates Street Performance

Toronto BuskerFest, the city's annual celebration of street performance, is back for its 11th year. From August 11-14, over 200 buskers from across Canada and around the world will take to the streets, parks, and TTC stations of Toronto to showcase their unique talents.

"BuskerFest is a vibrant and dynamic event that brings people together to experience the joy of live street performance," said festival director Lisa Zarutskie. "We're excited to welcome back so many talented buskers to Toronto and to share their artistry with our city."

This year's festival will feature a wide variety of performers, including musicians, dancers, acrobats, comedians, and more. Buskers will be performing at over 30 locations across the city, including Yonge-Dundas Square, Nathan Phillips Square, and Harbourfront Centre. The festival is free to attend and open to all ages.

In addition to live performances, BuskerFest will also feature a number of workshops and activities for all ages. These include a busking basics workshop, a kids' zone, and a food court featuring local vendors.

Toronto BuskerFest is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting street performance in Toronto. The festival is funded through a combination of government grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.
